Haiku for Summer



Japanese garden
from one path to another
nothing on my mind

afternoon stillness
my neighbor’s chimes
announces a breeze

pressing heat
in late afternoon
the fridge’s hum

Nice group Adelaide.

__ I've seen wind-catchers that were hung from clappers, and each wind would cause a push and pull to ring and chime.

I like the sound of chimes, but not close to my bedroom window.
