Tanka

                                 anticipation
                                 slipping in with the cold
                                 of December;
                                 like a child I plan and dream
                                 and polish my sparkle

Moonset, spring 2010

The wood looks cosy under its blanket of snow, Adelaide. You seem to have produced a trompe l'oeil effect in the photo. Poem also goes well with your image...

Thanks, Frank. The wood is on our back porch and usually is protected, but a snowstorm last year was blown by the wind.

This is very relatable to me. (But unfortunately, it is not cold where I live yet.) Love your photo too.

Like a kid I still look forward to Christmas, even though it is work cooking for the entire family,

Thanks for visiting.
