tulips aplenty
more than I hoped
more than I planted
soft dampness
the silken feel of spring
on my arms

on my arms
a gentle breeze
tickling my senses
first peonies
Kukai
Chrysanthemum
Cattails

Lovely, Adelaide. And how I love peonies! That scent! I once bought a face cream because it had Imperial Peony as an ingredient - couldn't resist that image. Shades of Heian court ladies...
Hoping your Spring is joyful,
Mary
