Tanka

                                 found in a trashpile
                                 a teapot with a crack
                                 making it useless
but for the curve of its handle
and the tilt of its spout

It's original functionality is gone, perhaps. But more importantly to my eye, and apparently yours as well, its beauty remains. Beauty can remain despite other factors, including age and wear. Love it!
