Haibun
Odysse y An elusive floating. I reach out and clasp sunbeams. I move forward, searching for I know not what, yet, understanding...

Oh, yeah...I've been loath to drive to the store.
I could just eat up that view...with my eyes!
Two nice additions here, Adelaide :)
I love the softness in the images that you choose...exquisite pieces of art,
wishes,
devika
Thank you Devika and Bandit. I'm always glad to have to stop by and visit.
Sometimes it's well to shop the cupboards. Things get shoved in the back, and who knows what interesting combinations one can create with roasted chestnuts, artichoke hearts packed in water and orzo? (I used the orzo and artichoke hearts, but left the chestnuts for another time)
Happy New Year.
Adelaide
This is wonderful, Adelaide! Thank you for stopping by my blog again and thank you for the kind wishes. I hope you have an amazing New Year as well and I look forward to reading your poetry in 2010. :)
delightful, adelaide... and a remarkable image
Happy New Years Adelaide!
Bandit referred me to your current haiga when I posted a haiku about food at his moon viewing party tonight. Now I see why. Your view is to die for. A lovely composition. What is the meaning of the symbol imposed on this photo?
All the best,
Robin
Thank you, Emma and Robin.
The symbol is a glass medallion of the Swiss flag. We lived in Switzerland some years ago for almost 5 years. It's a fond memory of our time there, plus I like the way the sun shines through the colored glass.
Adelaide
I enjoyed several of your lovely haiku.
Thank you for stopping by.
