Hi Adelaide
the pond
circled by the poet
becomes an ocean
The late Lary Fraser, my friend and mentor, told me that every body of water in her poems was based on the pond in her back yard.
Where I lived before, this wa one of the ponds I passed every day. This is what it looks like after heavy rains and humidity. The pond swinks when the rain is less. It changed its appearance throughout the year.
Thanks for commenting and for your haiku. With imagenation, one pond can become any body of water.

Thanks,Sandy. Hoping to be cooler tomorrow.
