__ Nifty haibun Adelaide, and apples tempt us all. _m

Apples time; their smiles into cider; another sip.

Thanks Magyar. I took the photo years ago. The orchard is abandoned, now.

Memories.
__ I'd go hunting with my dad in the early 1950's, and where we roamed, there were three lonely Russet trees along the edge of a then abandoned field in Winchester; ugly, but greatly tasteful, we both loved those apples! I suppose now, there could be a condominium at that field. Oh well. _m

Nice photo! Paradise regained in a beautiful way.
Are those Macouns?

Hi Sandy

Yes the apples are Macouns. You know your apples! Hubby and I and the kids would go up to the country to pick apples. Now I live in the country and this orchard is not operating.
