Haiku

                                leisurely lunch-
                                the bouquet of peonies
                                drops a petal

                                spring breezes-
                                first peonies
                                then sage

Very nice photo & haiku, Adelaide. In particular, I like the contrast of images in the first haiku.Only a haiku poet would notice the petal dropping...

Two good ones. A new meaning to "leisurely."

I love them, too--and the peonies and sage here are so evocative. I'll think of you as I walk through the yard today and inhale them.
