Haibun

A PICTURE POSTCARD

A green and gold landscape.  New wheat and rape fields set out in connecting squares.  Black and white cows spotting open pastures.  Lichened stone walls; solid rough wood barns and farm houses.  Flower fresh window boxes trailing summer against dun colored walls.

I hope you had a nice Easter. We did, and so far so good with the new normal. My husband and I are keeping ourselves apart from the neighbors. We don't have any close family so that doesn't come up. Thank goodness for the phone!

Do you have any flowers up yet? I can't wait to be outdoors working in the yard.
