HOLIDAY TRADITIONS
Some never change.
Some evolve into a new form. Some
are added; some are dropped. Who
decides? The children, a new family
member with different customs, grandchildren with individual favorites, the
hostess who is cooking the meal. Somehow
they all come together.

A charmer, Adelaide.
Thank you, Bill.
I've gotten behind in reading other blogs and commenting. Too many irons in the fire.
Happy New year.

Your prose: how true about traditions. Had never really thought about all that. And a lovely, multilayered haiku.
awesome, luv the photo; just brings it home on a grand note
much love...
Thank you Gillena and Janet.
The turkey stuffing recipe my mother used has been passed on to my daughters who now use it. Everyone seems to like the stuffing better than the turkey.
Each year I say, "Thanks, Mom."
