The picture framing works well here. And I can relate to the calming quiet of the country. (Perhaps enjoying the picnic food also stalled the conversation?!) At night, though, the little critters in the fields and woods can be very loud - but a good loud.

When we were looking for a house in this part of the county it was one of the attractions, this quiet and beauty everywhere.

"stills" is the pivotal word here, and stillness is the dominant impression the haiga creates.
