Haibun

                                                    OUT OF TIME

Windows open on a June morning.  The scent of burning leaves.  The neighbors are doing their yard clean-up.  Surely an autumn smell these burning leaves.  Yet the scent…wafting on the warm breezes instead of cool ones… seems right and not out of time.
