what a lovely haiga... a beautiful landscape
Thank you, Emma. I saw your lovely work on Simply Haiku.
Congratulations.

Dear Adelaide,
May I relate a story?
For two years, I've passed an autumn lake in my area, always meaning to somehow find the time to photograph it, notable for its still, calm reflection, but only recently "finding the time" to do so.
I find your haiga is a "reflection" of our busy existence.
What's the old adage? Take time to smell the roses. Too often we don't, but writing haiku is a good way to slow down and observe. Taking photos is another.
Thanks for stopping by.
Adelaide
