on its swing
spring clean-up-
last year's grasses
arranged in a vase
Tanka
pushing through the day small reminders of age force a slower pace this season os winter becomes a quieter time Presence

the constant struggle between mammal and avian. Took us years to develop a security system-and we put out corn on the ground and windowsill.
